Founder and Clinical Director
I love being outdoors and connecting with nature. My experiences in nature have brought me a better understanding of mindfulness and the power of compassion. Many times we find unexpected and difficult challenges in while in nature. I believe that we learn the most when going through these difficult situations.
In my clinical work I have over 15 years of practice and training in supporting people who are neurodiverse. I specialize in ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, and Parenting issues. I use a model of wellness within my practice and evidence-based tools such as Mindfulness, Parent Coaching, ACT, and CBT. I like to create a calm and nurturing environment in the session that is focused on growth.
Clinical Therapist
As a dedicated therapist, I believe in empowering individuals on their journey to mental wellness. My approach draws upon the powerful tools of CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Training, allowing me to provide personalized support to clients of all ages facing challenges such as anxiety, borderline personality disorder, eating disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and bereavement.
I’m deeply committed to helping individuals overcome barriers that limit their success in achieving both wellness and athletic goals. My background in fitness training has given me a unique perspective on how the mind and body intertwine, enabling me to foster holistic growth in my clients. I have enjoyed being able to provide online counseling because it has added to my ability to reach more clients. We find unique ways to interact using a Telehealth approach.
Clinical Therapist
A little about me, I have a master’s degree in school counseling from Villanova University and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Millersville University. I am a National Certified Counselor and have 3 years of experience in counseling. My work in the school system, has given me valuable experience with children and families.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in a holistic perspective, recognizing the intricate interplay between an individual's mental, emotional, and social well-being. I draw from mindfulness practices to help clients cultivate self-awareness, emotional regulation, and stress reduction. Moreover, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) allows me to assist individuals in identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors that may be contributing to their challenges. I incorporate person-centered counseling with my approach, emphasizing empathy, unconditional positive regard, and active listening to foster a safe and nurturing therapeutic environment. Above all, I prioritize client autonomy, aiming to empower an individual to take an active role in their own growth and healing. When I am not working, I enjoy being outdoors, reading, spending time with friends and families, and laying on the couch with my pets.
