Why do you offer ASD specific services?

We offer specific Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) services due to the unique nature of the diagnosis. Our autism programs are designed with care and compassion. People who are diagnosed with ASD have a different way of processing and interpreting information in their environment. Counseling for someone with ASD can be very useful because it helps to build skills that may not come naturally to the person.
We listen to your needs and goals and form a plan with you. We allow time for you to take in new information and process what is going on. In our sessions, you will not feel rushed or pressured.

What about my family members?

In addition to working with people diagnosed with ASD, we offer supports and services to family members to build the most successful and happy environment for all. Siblings are often in need of supports or just someone to vent to. Giving everyone in the family the supports they need to function in a happy and healthy way is key to the long-term success of the interventions.

Your counselor will give you specific skills and discuss your approach and ways to improve. This is an important part of many people's lives that can feel hard or even impossible when you are on the spectrum. Your counselor will work with you to build confidence in your abilities to form relationships so you can find someone to share your interests and hobbies with.
